“YOURS FOR WESTERN ALASKA”

(907) 443-5221

Going back to school can be a stressful time no matter what’s going on in the world. But with the COVID-19 pandemic challenging our region, students, parents, and even teachers may have more concerns than ever about what this upcoming school year will look like.

Our regional school superintendents are joining KNOM this Friday from 11 a.m. – noon for a special hour-long episode of EXCHANGE. We will have Nome Public Schools’ Jamie Burgess, Bering Strait School District’s Bobby Bolen, and Lower Yukon School District’s Gene Stone to talk about the back-to-school plans for each of the three school districts.

They will go over their most up to date plans, talk about safety and social distancing protocols, and then will have time to answer your questions.

Submit your questions now by filling out the form below, or you can join us live during the show on Friday by calling (907) 443-5221.
