  • You’ve selected to send a community announcement, a general message to your community and all KNOM listeners. Announcements are read throughout each day and receive special attention at our weekday hotline program (Monday–Friday, 12:15 and 5:15pm).

...Have you explored our Volunteer Program FAQ? It might answer some of your questions about our volunteer program. Of course, we're happy to hear from you at any time!

  • The Fine Print

KNOM cannot air any messages from anyone who is currently incarcerated (such as in Anvil Mountain Correctional Center, or AMCC).

KNOM reserves the right to withhold any message or song request from its airwaves, especially if the message or request is proven to contain false or coded information or if it is in any way deemed illegitimate by the KNOM staff.

  • KNOM cannot guarantee the playing of your song request. Show playlists are limited by broadcast standards, time and scheduling constraints, and other factors. Staff will always do their best to honor song requests as fairly and thoroughly as possible; however, final decisions always remain with the on-air staff.

  • Want to donate to KNOM?

If you'd like to give securely with a credit card online, head over to KNOM's online donation site.

DO NOT use the contact form you are currently viewing to submit a credit card number.

A vintage photo of an igloo on a field of snow and ice, with a pair of snowshoes and a handwritten sign that says “Happy Birthday from Nome.”

Listen to a few distinctively Western Alaska versions of the Happy Birthday” songs heard each day during Hotlines.
