Lady Nanooks take second in first home tournament of the season
The Nome-Beltz Volleyball teams placed second in their first home tournament of the season. The Lady Nanooks played Barrow and Bethel at the Nome-Beltz High School in the Arctic Pinkies volleyball tournament.

The Nome-Beltz Cross Country team attended the Chugiak “Smokin’ Stampede” meet this past weekend. Although the meet was originally scheduled to be held at Chugiak High School, inclement weather caused the meet to be moved to Anchorage’s Kincaid Park.
