Arctic Energy “mobile office” visits Nome

Givey Kochanowski visited Nome on behalf of the Arctic Energy Office under the U.S. Department of Energy. While the main office is in Fairbanks, visiting the arctic as the “mobile office” allows federal representatives to engage with local communities and hear what issues they are facing. Kochanowski discussed current projects such as climate-change research in the Seward Peninsula, the Pilgrim Hot Springs geothermal energy, and Graphite One mining.
