“YOURS FOR WESTERN ALASKA”

(907) 443-5221

Your story is radio-active

For more than a half century, KNOM’s dedicated inner circle of benefactors, all over the United States, have kept radio alive in Western Alaska. Thanks to you, this little community radio station has been a place for people to share critical information and engaging conversations with one another — and the world.

KNOM has used paper letters to keep in touch with and gain new friends and benefactors. In return, thousands of you have written back to us sharing your own stories of love for Western Alaska. The impact we have created together deserves to be shared and multiplied.

Would you consider sharing KNOM’s mission with those in your circle?

If you would like to participate online, KNOM has a new “friend-raising” page, where you can share your story, post pictures or video, and share it directly with friends and family on social media. If you would enjoy hosting an in-person gathering, like a dinner, bake sale, or potluck to benefit the mission, that is also an option. You can visit the “friend-raising” page for more information and ideas.
