“YOURS FOR WESTERN ALASKA”

(907) 443-5221

Dear Friend… (September 2022)

During times of change or difficulty, it is important to speak up, listen, and participate in building a strong community.

In Scripture we read the story of Esther. She was called upon by God to speak and act on behalf of her people at a critical time. Because of her courage, God’s people survived.

Alaskans are making critical decisions this fall, with many political, economic, and social ramifications. By listening, speaking, and building consensus, Western Alaskans are ensuring that their way of life survives.

Whether it’s at the upcoming Alaska Federation of Natives Convention, a local council meeting, or a statewide election, KNOM is there to hold the microphone: amplifying Western Alaskan voices and empowering important conversations.

Thank you for making this radio mission possible!
