“YOURS FOR WESTERN ALASKA”

(907) 443-5221

Dear Friend… (End-of-Year 2021)

FM transmitter tower

As the mission hit the milestone of 50 years on the air in July, esteemed leaders in the community spoke publicly about the impact of KNOM has had over the years.

It is clear that KNOM’s long-term presence in Western Alaska has empowered growth and engaged local listeners to tell their stories and instigate transformation in their home communities.

2021 has been a year of stabilizing and strength building for KNOM. After the immediate response to new challenges and worries in 2020, 2021 gave time to think more deeply about the mission’s vision for the future.
By creating a new strategic plan this coming spring, KNOM’s Board of Directors will be charting the course for the radio station to continue encountering Christ, embracing culture, empowering growth, and engaging the listener in Western Alaska for years to come.

Thank you for creating a quality local radio station that truly is, Yours, for Western Alaska!
