Lady Nanooks play in Galena

The Lady Nanooks volleyball team travelled to Galena on the weekend of Oct. 22 for an away non-conference match. Both the Lady Nanook varsity teams played against Galena and Hutchison while the Nome junior varsity team matched strength against Galena’s JV team.

On Friday, Oct. 22, the Lady Nanooks played against Galena first and won three games to zero. They played against Hutchison next, and lost one game to three.

On Saturday, Oct. 23, Nome played Hutchison first and won three games to one. They played Galena and won three games to zero.

The Lady Nanook’s JV team won both sets against Galena JV.

Coming up next, the Lady Nanooks will host Dillingham in Nome. The games will start today [Oct. 28th] and go until Friday, Oct. 29.
