Elder Voices: Vince Pikonganna

Craggy, grassy island cliff and shoreline, wrapped in mist

Join us for a special presentation of Elder Voices featuring King Island elder Vince Pikonganna in two interviews from 2003 and 2013.

Vince was born in Nome and spent most of his formative years on King Island, before the community was relocated to Nome.

Elder Voices: a window to the past, a door to the future.

Oh my, I just listened to Vince talk about his life in King island. It was wonderful. Just like being there. This was my first time listening to elder voices. Thank you so much.
