The State Department Has Declared a Gonorrhea Outbreak in Alaska. Here’s What You Need to Know.

The Alaska Department of Health and Social Services (DHSS) has announced there is currently a statewide outbreak of gonorrhea.

Susan Jones with DHSS says the majority of the cases are found in individuals under the age of 29, and the Department is trying to track down more people with the sexually transmitted disease.
