Profile: Regional Public Intoxication — The Nature of the Problem, and How to Better Manage It

Public intoxication is an issue that is affecting more and more people in Nome and the region. According to data from the Nome Police Department, the number of drunken-person calls they have responded to more than doubled between 2015 and 2016, and that number could be even higher this year.
