Alaska State Troopers in Aniak arrested an Anvik man last week who had two warrants out for his arrest.

On the first of this month, Derek Kruger turned himself into Troopers in Anvik, without incident, and was remanded to the YKCC in Bethel.

Two warrants were out for Kruger’s arrest. One was a $5,000 felony arrest warrant, which was issued by a court judge in Anchorage after Kruger violated the terms of his probation. The second warrant was for unlawful evasion in the 1st degree.

Update (June 7, 8:25am): Kruger’s case was dismissed in the Bethel Courthouse Tuesday afternoon.
