Making Merry, on the Air

Kristin Leffler in Studio C

On December 19th, the atmosphere was even more festive than usual at KNOM studios, as our volunteers and staff hosted an annual holiday tradition: our Christmas Call-In Show.

For seven hours — from 10am to 5pm, interrupted only for news and our most important regional announcements — we opened up our airwaves for live greetings and Christmas and New Year’s wishes from callers throughout our listening range.

While we host weekly call-in shows (such as Sounding Board), the Christmas Call-In Show is a special opportunity for our listeners to call in for no other reason than to offer personal greetings. It’s a special tradition that we know our region appreciates, and it’s possible thanks to you!
