96.1 FM | 780 AM | “Yours for Western Alaska”

It’s one of KNOM’s oldest and most popular traditions: our Village Hotline program keeps you connected with what’s happening in your community, and it gives you the chance to send or receive messages within our Western Alaska listening range.

Send a birthday greeting, an anniversary message, or something more urgent: hotlines keep you in touch.

Use the form below to send a point-to-point message, or use our Community Announcement form to announce an event or opportunity in your region.

  • Feel free to use only a first name.
  • (village/city/location of recipient)
  • Feel free to use only a first name.
  • (village/city/location of sender)
  • What would you like to say? Write the message exactly as you'd like it read.
  • If we receive your message before 5pm, we'll broadcast it on the same day it's received – unless you specify another date here.
  • If we get this message before 12noon (or days in advance), we'll air it two times by default – at 12:15pm and 5:15pm – unless you tell us not to, below.
  • We'll use your contact information only to get in touch if any issues or questions arise with your message.

Please note that this form is only for sending messages to individuals in Western Alaska (within our listening range).

If, for whatever reason, you’re not able to use this form, you can still call in your hotlines: (907) 443-5221.

KNOM cannot air any hotline messages from anyone who is currently incarcerated (such as in Anvil Mountain Correctional Center, or AMCC); we can air messages to those at AMCC, however. By clicking “Submit,” you verify that your message meets this requirement and that all information you have provided is accurate.

KNOM reserves the right to withhold any message from its airwaves, especially if the message is proven to contain false or coded information or if it is in any way deemed illegitimate by the KNOM staff.
