The Program Director coordinates KNOM’s non-news programming, ensuring that KNOM’s programs are presented creatively, professionally and consistent with KNOM’s goals. The Program Director is the supervisor of KNOM’s announcing staff. Supervisor: KNOM General Manager. The KNOM Program Director is on 24 hours call, 365 days a year.

Job qualifications include (see full job description, linked below, for full details): bachelor’s degree; a minimum of 5 years professional broadcasting experience; ability to read and write clearly and smoothly; ability to produce live and recorded radio programming; demonstrated abilities to supervise, to work well with others, and to maintain good morale among all staff; ability to operate all broadcast equipment in the KNOM studio building.
