Voices of Hope, Love, & Mercy

Priest stands inside church sanctuary

God has blessed Nome with two priests for the first time in the history of St. Joseph Catholic Church. Father Kumar and Father Thomas are in their second month in Nome and have been busy traveling throughout the region.

Fr. Thomas recently finished his second trip to Stebbins, St. Michael, and Unalakleet, while Fr. Kumar was in Kotzebue. With the abundance of two priests, Nome now has consistent daily evening Rosary and Mass, Monday through Friday. KNOM connected with the parish, as well, to broadcast the communion service on Ash Wednesday. Father Kumar’s voice is also being featured on Sundays during Lent in the noon and five o’clock hours, sharing messages of God’s hope, love, and mercy.

Thank you for making it possible for KNOM to continue broadcasting local Catholic programming!
