City Council Approves Zoning Changes for Five Nome Blocks

Portions of five Nome city blocks will be rezoned from general use to commercial use, following an August 30th ordinance from the Nome Planning Commission and approval on Monday from the City Council. Also approved on Monday: monthly stipends for city employees who also hold elected or appointed positions.
