38-year-old Travis Siekert was hunting an estimated 35 miles northwest of St. Mary’s when he began suffering from serious medical issues.
Alaska State Troopers received a report that fiber optic equipment, a generator, and other gear were stolen from a Hammer Environmental Services truck parked in Emmonak over the weekend.
An active search for Hamilton by Bethel Search and Rescue and well as by volunteers from the communities of Grayling, Holy Cross and Shageluk has continued into this week for missing 18-year-old Alfred Hamilton.

The State Medical Examiner is working to identify a body found in Gambell on Monday. Troopers believe it’s Gladys Aningayou, who went missing last week.
The body was discovered Monday around 11 p.m. The remains will be sent to the State Medical Examiner’s Office in Anchorage to confirm the identity.
Gladys Aningayou was last seen Thursday evening. Gambell residents have searched the community, including abandoned buildings and camps, but they’ve found no sign of Aningayou.
Graduation speaker Evita Samuels, 33, “died [Tuesday] at the [Diomede] school where she was staying,” Troopers said Wednesday. Foul play is not suspected.
