4-time Iditarod champion Jeff King finished third in the 2013 Iditarod, reaching the finish line just after midnight at 12:21am, Wednesday morning. Greeted by a strong crowd, friends, family, and a soda, King took several minutes to sit on the ground with his dogs to congratulate them on a strong race.
