Vehicle Roll-Over Results In Driver Hospitalized, One Passenger Dead

Teller, Alaska

Over the weekend, a car accident on the Teller road resulted in one fatality.

Sunday morning, around 7:40am, Alaska State Troopers were notified that an 18-month-old infant was thrown from a Dodge Durango as the vehicle rolled over. According to Troopers, the driver was medevaced for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries; however, the male child reportedly died from his injuries.

The name of the driver is not being released at this time. Investigation into the motor vehicle collision is ongoing.
