Sitnasuak Native Corporation (SNC) has selected the former head of the Arctic Slope Regional Corporation to become its new President and CEO.

Roberta Quintavell, also known as Bobbi, will transition into the leadership position next month as current CEO Richard Strutz is on his way out.

Quintavell is Inupiaq, originally from Utqiagvik, and received her Bachelor’s degree at the University of Alaska in Anchorage.

In a press release, Sitnasuak’s newly appointed CEO said, “I am looking forward to advancing the businesses of the Sitnasuak family of companies, while remaining grounded in our values and upholding our cultural sustainability.”

Quintavell will work out of SNC’s Anchorage office beginning, officially, on May 31st once Strutz retires.
