The Bering Straits Native Corporation (BSNC) will distribute an estimated $2.2 million in shareholder dividends for 2016.

The dividend will be $3.50 per share. BSNC Board Chairman Henry Ivanoff says this is a record high – a 10% increase from the 2015 distribution.

In a press release, Ivanoff says the dividend shows the corporation’s dedication to provide significant benefits to BSNC shareholders. Dividends will be issued next month (December).

In another announcement, BSNC will also issue a special Elder dividend this month. The Board of Directors voted in August to provide $500 to original BSNC shareholders, age 65 or older. Those Elder dividends will be paid on November 10th, with checks scheduled to be mailed by December 31st of this year.
