Two special volunteers

We are blessed with volunteer help from two long-time supporters of KNOM.

Tom and Marian Braun from Colorado are spending two weeks at KNOM. Now retired, they travel the country donating their time to worthwhile charities. They drive their motor home throughout the United States, sometimes building homes for Habitat For Humanity, and they even lent a helping hand in Joplin, Missouri after a tornado struck that community.

Marian has designed new insulated curtains for the KNOM volunteer community house; she’s cutting, trimming, pinning, and sewing material, transforming them into beautiful window coverings.

Tom has taken charge of scraping and painting duties at KNOM’s AM transmitter and generator buildings. With all the rain during the week, the painting project was put on hold while Tom worked to rebuild the site’s crumbling tower fencing.

Tom and Marian also provided the funds for both of these projects. We thank them for their devotion to the KNOM Radio Mission. Please keep them in your prayers.
