Jeff King’s “Last” Iditarod

Multiple-time Iditarod champion Jeff King says that Iditarod 2010 will be his last: at least, his last as a competitor. He’s already sold his dogs (effective after this year’s race is over), and he says he’d like to leave on a high note.

King recently spoke with KNOM’s Laureli Kinneen in Anchorage on his outlook for Iditarod 38, the generational shifts he’s observing in the race, and the future of the Iditarod.
