this week on Sounding Board:
Smoking in Public Places
Thursday, May 12, 2011, 10:00 am
- A new proposal of the Nome Common Council would ban smoking in all enclosed public places in the City of Nome. This would include the town's office buildings, hotels, restaurants, stores, medical facilities, and bars.
- What do you think of this proposal? What are your views on public smoking in general?
- Should municipalities have the power to ban public smoking?
